He's a renaissance man who has worked in many
fields including acting, music, teaching and video
game/development. He acted in "Hair" and "Jesus
Christ Superstar." He won a Drama Desk Award for his role in
"I Love My Wife." He wrote the book composition for Doug
Henning's "The Magic Show." He co-authored and sang on
the popular Twilight 22 album. To my amazement, he even taught
music at my old high school....Westbury High.
If that wasn't enough, he has become an icon in
the video game and development industry. He is the CEO of
Entertainment Arts Research Inc. (EARI), the only African-American
publicly traded 3D video game company. EARI just launched the
Universe of Faith web site that has 500,000 tracks of gospel and
faith-based music. The company also has developed an avatar-driven
sites for models, filmmakers and soon journalists. Saulter also
runs the Urban Video Game Academy that teaches video game and
development to at-risk high school students.
In 2009, EARI was able to ink a $25 million deal
with the Shaolin Temple in China. It has plans to develop console
games as well as virtual world worlds.
We salute Mr. Saulter for all of his
accomplishments.
