SAMPLE E-COVER LETTER

1. When you write your e-cover letter, be sure to keep it short and sweet. Remember that this isn't like a regular cover letter that might span three or four paragraphs. This one should be no more than a couple of lines.

2. Simply, write the employer's name and explain how you discovered the job listing.

3. Type your letter directly in the e-mail format given by your Internet provider.

4. Write your resume in the Word format, and save.

5. Go to the document, highlight, and copy it. Then, paste it right into your e-mail after your greeting to the employer.
