O’Leary, Fisk is now seeking its next
President. Reporting to the Board of
Trustees, the President of Fisk
University will provide leadership and
strategic direction while maintaining
excellence in all academic programs. The
President will establish, evaluate, and
maintain a climate that encourages the
development and retention of exceptional
talent; a high level of morale and
engagement; effective working relations;
a high quality service culture; and an
environment with administration and
academic vision.
Applicants should
possess a terminal degree (preferred)
and a distinguished record of senior
leadership experience and professional
achievement in higher education or an
equivalent level of functional
responsibility in a related setting such
as business, government or nonprofit
enterprises. A proven ability to achieve
results in fundraising is required. In
addition, we are seeking an individual
with an appreciation and commitment to
HBCUs and who understands the heritage,
sense of pride and validation inherent
in these institutions.

The University of

of Development, Oregon Region. Reporting to the Sr.
Director of Development, Oregon Region, the Associate
Director serves as front line development officer for the
university, promoting fundraising priorities and image to
alumni, parents, and friends of the university. This
position will actively identify, cultivate, solicit, and
steward high-end annual ($2,500+) and major gift ($100K+)
level donors and new prospects across Oregon, and in other
regions as assigned. This position is field-oriented,
requiring frequent travel and direct contact with donors
and prospects, as well as collaboration with staff and
faculty across the university
Salary is commensurate
with experience and will range from $60-75K. The

The
University of Oregon
is seeking applications for a Director of
Development for the Office of Research, Innovation
and Graduate Education. Reporting jointly to
the Vice President for Research/Dean of the
Graduate School, and the Assistant Vice President
for Schools and Colleges in University
Development, the director is responsible for donor
acquisition, major gift ($100K+) fundraising, and
donor stewardship for the Office of Research,
Innovation and Graduate Education. The
director will represent the school in development
matters and set fundraising goals and strategies
in conjunction with the VP for Research/Dean of
the Graduate School and the AVP for Schools and
Colleges. The director will work with the
academic leaders of the Office
of Research, Innovation and Graduate Education and
development colleagues across the university,
faculty, and senior staff to identify new
prospects and strategically cultivate the alumni,
parents, and friends of the Office of Research,
Innovation and Graduate Education. The
director will also facilitate opportunities for
the Vice President for Research/Dean of the
Graduate School, University President, and other
academic leadership to meet donors, including
arranging logistics, preparing briefing and
presentation materials, and executing follow-up
plans. This position is field oriented,
requiring direct contact with donors and donor
prospects. The director will be responsible
for meeting fundraising goals as they relate to
the strategic needs of the university.
Performance as measured against these goals will
be evaluated annually. This position will
involve frequent travel off-campus
throughout the United States to work with gift
prospects. Prior to hire, the finalist in
this position must successfully complete a
criminal background check.
